I got hired by a friend to take some pictures of farm animals, insects, plants and people on Monday. I like how this macro of a praying mantis turned out a lot.
(by the way, it's cleaning one of its front legs off with it's mouth. It was pissed off after I dipped it in water so it would sit still for me)

Nice photo, John. I'm surprised he isn't yelling at you, something like "why didn't you just ASK me to hold still, what's with the water?!"
There's another one where he is giving me the evil eye.
I asked him to sit still, then told him and then finally dunked him so he had his chance.
