I was using my 2 year old digital camera as an exposure meter for my grandpa's 50 year old Rolleiflex. It is pretty cool how well that old camera works. . . .
My first camera was my dad's ~20 year old SLR with a broken light meter. I had to use the Sunny F16 rule to "educated guess" my exposure. Which was a huge pain in the ass, but also an incredible teaching tool!
